- Timekeeping: Prepare time entries for assigned attorneys and ensure timely submission. Handle expense reimbursement and disbursement requests and coordinate client billing matters with the Billing Department.
- General Administrative Support: Prepare and process new matter documents, screen phone calls, direct clients and visitors, coordinate travel arrangements, and prepare itineraries and travel expense reports. Schedule meetings, arrange conference rooms and meals, and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in the law firm.
- Additional Administrative Assistance: The Practice Assistant may assist with mentoring new office staff and piloting new software.

Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Practice Assistant or Legal Secretary is required.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, legal documents, and legal processes is essential.
- Accurate typing skills of at least 70 words per minute.
- Strong computer proficiency in using MS Office, document management, time entry, e-filing, and database software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading.
- Superior organizational skills, including filing, calendaring, and proofreading.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Regular predictable attendance is required.
