Job Title: Senior Director, Cyber and Analytics Unit

Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Director within the organization's Cyber and Analytics Unit (CAU) is tasked with leading the Cyber-Enabled Fraud (CEF) team. This team is responsible for planning and executing cyber-enabled fraud investigations involving member firms. Additionally, the director oversees the Analytics Threat Targeting team, which focuses on threat identification analysis and proactive targeting using data analytics to support the department in planning and executing complex and special investigations and examinations.

Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of skilled Cyber Security Investigators by providing guidance, feedback, and fostering a team-oriented culture.
- Developing regulatory strategies around emerging risks and threats and overseeing related examinations, consultations, and regulatory work.
- Consulting on cyber security and technology-related thematic reviews or Cause investigations.
- Leading the cyber security or technology risk assessment process, which involves identifying high-risk firms and monitoring trends in breaches or incidents.
- Providing subject-matter expertise to external parties, including firm membership, on high-level regulatory issues through panel discussions, regional roundtables, and information notices.
- Ensuring timely training, support, and intelligence delivery to the organization's Risk Monitoring, Examination, and other departments.
- Collaborating with the Member Application Program (MAP) team to analyze new firms regarding their technology and cyber risks and controls.
- Regularly collaborating with other regulators or law enforcement agencies such as the SEC, FRB, States, CFTC, NFA, FBI, DHS, and other stakeholders.
- Reviewing and approving exam-related reports and letters.
- Representing the organization at relevant industry events.

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates are required to have a Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred fields of study include Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, Computer Forensics, Data Analytics, or related areas. An advanced degree, relevant certification, or a law degree is considered a plus. Significant experience in securities, compliance, or financial regulatory sectors is necessary, along with highly advanced knowledge of analyzing and investigating complex cyber and analytics-related issues.

Knowledge Requirements:
- Substantive knowledge of risks, rules, and regulations related to cybersecurity, technology, and fraud-related risks and threats.
- Understanding of regulatory compliance issues.
- Familiarity with data analytics methods, procedures, and tools.

The salary range varies by location, with specific ranges provided for various states and cities. For example:
- In California: Minimum Salary $177,100, Maximum Salary $361,700
- In Colorado/Hawaii/Minnesota/Vermont: Minimum Salary $154,100, Maximum Salary $301,400
- In Illinois: Minimum Salary $169,400, Maximum Salary $331,900
- In Jersey City, NJ/New York City, NY: Minimum Salary $185,000, Maximum Salary $361,700
- In Massachusetts/Washington: Minimum Salary $154,100, Maximum Salary $346,700
- In Maryland/Washington, DC: Minimum Salary $177,100, Maximum Salary $346,700
