Job Title: Labor and Employment Midlevel Associate
Job Responsibilities:
- Join the Labor & Employment practice group at the law firm.
- Engage in employment litigation, which may involve single-plaintiff cases, wage and hour disputes, class-action lawsuits, internal investigations, and restrictive covenant litigation.
- Participate in arbitrations related to employment matters.
- Draft and brief motions pertinent to employment litigation cases.
- Propound and respond to discovery requests, including handling electronically stored information (ESI) discovery.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation efforts.
- Organize case files and manage documentation related to ongoing cases.
Education and Experience Information:
- Must have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in a large law firm environment.
- At least two years of experience in employment litigation is highly preferred.
- Candidates with significant experience in non-employment litigation may also be considered.
- Possess excellent academic credentials.
- Demonstrate strong research, organizational, writing, and analytical skills.
- Must have active membership with the Pennsylvania Bar.
