Job Title: Discovery Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Under the supervision of attorneys, perform a range of investigation and collections-related duties necessary to respond to litigation discovery requests.
- Obtain and manage client documents, including electronic data, and identify potentially relevant materials for each case.
- Assist with coordinating efforts between client personnel, attorneys, and outside vendors.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with stakeholders both within and outside the law firm.
- Maintain and organize evidentiary data and case-related information in accordance with best records management practices across a wide array of case files and documentation, including assisting with the coordination and management of document productions.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or a Paralegal Certificate is a plus.
- Minimum 1-2+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.
- Experience with collaboration and work management software is a plus.
- Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Experience with Electronically Stored Information and document management systems, including computer-assisted review technologies, is a plus.
Salary Information:
- Pay Range: $70,000 - $75,000 USD.
- A variety of factors are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, market demands, other business and organizational needs, and other factors permitted by law.
- This position is also eligible for discretionary bonuses.
- Final salary wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances.
- This position is considered full-time and qualifies for benefits including a 401(k) retirement savings plan, medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
