Position Summary:
- Seeking highly motivated and Illinois Bar licensed associate personal injury lawyer
- Handle a large and growing docket of cases
- 1-3 years’ experience in personal injury and/or nursing home lawyers preferred
- Familiarity with discovery and litigation required
- Excellent research and writing skills necessary
- Responsible for handling all aspects of pre-litigation and litigation personal injury cases
- Manage staff member(s) working on cases
- Supported by skilled legal assistant(s)
- Overall organization and attention to detail essential
- Must be able to regularly interact with clients, adjusters, and other lawyers/paralegals
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), computer, analytical, and initiative skills required
- Part of a fast-paced team environment with necessary support for growth as a lawyer
