Job Description:
- Seeking an Associate Attorney with 5-10 years of litigation experience to join the Workers' Compensation Department at a leading civil defense law firm in Philadelphia, PA
- Litigate a variety of workers' compensation claims involving high-exposure, complex litigation
- Represent clients across numerous industries including construction, manufacturing, technology, health care, retail, education and more
- Possess strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
- Develop necessary skills to independently manage a case from inception through resolution under tutelage and mentorship of the firm
- Collaborative and inclusive work environment with opportunities for advancement within the firm

Responsibilities:
- Litigate workers' compensation claims involving repetitive trauma, occupational disease, and death and hearing loss claims
- Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
- Attend hearings, depositions, and trials
- Manage own caseload and work on cases with senior attorneys

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar
- 5-10 years of litigation experience
- Experience in workers' compensation preferred but not required
- Strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to advance within the firm and assist others in doing the same
