# Trust & Estates Paralegal Position at Law Firm

Law Firm is seeking a motivated and experienced Trust & Estates Paralegal to join their team. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Trusts & Estates Department and will be responsible for all aspects of Estate Administration and Estate Planning.

## Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

* 3+ years of experience in trust and estate administration
* Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills
* Ability to work independently
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CCH Tax Software, and Automation Software

## Responsibilities

The Trust & Estates Paralegal will be responsible for the following duties:

* Preparation of probate petitions, motions, inventories, accountings and related documentation
* Assistance with probate and non-probate asset transfers, including trust funding
* Federal and Massachusetts estate tax return preparation (using CCH Tax software)
* Use of automation software to assist in the initial preparation of estate planning documents, including preparation of and follow up to beneficiary designation forms and asset transfer documentation, such as deeds and Declarations of Homestead
* Significant client contact including written correspondence, phone conversations and personal contact
* Contact and communications with the Probate Courts
