Law Firm Seeking Trial / Finance & Restructuring Legal Assistant

Our Phoenix office is seeking a legal assistant with experience in trial and finance & restructuring to join our team. This is a hybrid position, with at least 4 days/week in the office.

Job Title:
Legal Assistant - Trial / Finance & Restructuring

Experience Information:
- At least 4 years of legal assistant experience
- Experience with Federal and State Court filing systems

Department:
Finance & Restructuring

Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day administrative legal support to attorneys
- Communicate and work with clients, service providers, and employees within the Firm
- Proofread, edit, format, and draft legal documents for accuracy
- Assist with time entry, opening new matters, drafting engagement letters and audit responses, and processing expense reimbursements
- Maintain attorney calendars and schedule appointments, conference calls, meetings, and travel arrangements
- Process invoices and file legal documents electronically
- Review docket and coordinate with attorneys and paralegals on upcoming dates and deadlines
- File paper and electronic documents promptly and accurately
- Schedule couriers, court reporters, and witnesses
- Answer telephones and provide support to other legal assistants
- Proactively solve problems and provide a high level of customer service

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong client service focus and skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail, proofreading, and organizational skills
- Ability to work as a team member and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
