**Litigation Paralegal Needed for Law Firm in Hartford, CT**

The Law Firm is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Hartford, CT. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of experience handling defense litigation matters or plaintiff’s personal injury matters. A bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate are highly preferred, but not required.

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

- Three (3) or more years of experience handling defense litigation matters or plaintiff’s personal injury matters
- Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certificate are highly preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and research skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and subpoenas
- Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits, including depositions, interrogatories, and other discovery materials
- Update and maintain case files
- Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
- Perform legal research
- Assist attorneys in all phases of the litigation process
- Assist in the preparation of depositions, trial preparation, and other tasks as assigned
