Summary: TRLA, a non-profit legal aid organization, is seeking a Paralegal B for their Housing Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong belief in equal justice for low-income individuals and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. The paralegal will provide direct representation to clients in housing matters and assist attorneys in all aspects of their cases. Responsibilities:

- Represent low-income clients in administrative proceedings and meetings with landlords
- Maintain a caseload of clients with housing issues and exercise independent professional judgment in each case
- Assist in investigating cases and negotiating with opposing parties
- Provide litigation support, including drafting legal documents and responding to discovery requests
- Conduct eligibility and substantive interviews with clients
- Provide basic information and referrals to applicants
- Maintain accurate and complete client files and administrative records
- Conduct community outreach and legal education presentations

Qualifications:

- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
