Salary: $90,000-$120,000 per year Law Firm Seeking Senior Paralegal for Litigation Support: $90,000-$120,000 per year H1: Senior Paralegal Position at Law Firm for Litigation Support H2: Essential Functions and Qualifications Law Firm Seeking Senior Paralegal for Litigation Support: $90,000-$120,000 per year Steptoe LLP is currently searching for a Senior Paralegal to join their team and provide support for their litigation lawyers. This position will involve handling a variety of responsibilities related to case preparation, document management, and trial support. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, as well as strong attention to detail, research and analysis skills, and excellent communication and critical thinking abilities. Essential Functions: - Case Management: Collaborate with lawyers to manage and organize litigation cases from start to finish. This includes maintaining and updating case files, preparing timelines and calendars, and coordinating with external parties as needed. - Legal Research and Analysis: Utilize various online and offline resources to conduct legal research and analyze relevant information to support case strategy. - Document Management: Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents, as well as assist with the preparation and filing of court documents. - Time Recording: Enter time spent on tasks into the firm's time entry system and maintain electronic document databases. - Discovery and Investigation: Assist with responding to discovery requests, managing document review processes, and conducting investigations. - Trial Support: Support lawyers during trials, including organizing exhibits and providing on-site assistance.
