Prioritize culture.

I thought it would be an amazing international firm to work at but it was terrible.

The management, especially the female partners, treat young women attorneys with disdain and provide them virtually no support. It is a very self-serving culture with very little authentic collegiality or very little interest in cultivating expertise for younger associates.

Susan Esserman; Lucinda Low.

There are a few kind and decent people but they are largely drowned out by the individualistic and cruel cultural environment.
