Position Overview:

The Sr. Paralegal provides legal services in support of the firm’s attorneys and clients. The Sr. Paralegal is responsible for researching, preparing, and filing legal UCC Financing Statements, Articles of Incorporation/Organization, annual reports, managing data rooms, and matter files, coordinating execution and delivery of documentation to other parties’ counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, etc., including all closing documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, monitor, and update closing and other books and other documents.
Develop, monitor, and update closing and other checklists.
Research, prepare, and file legal UCC Financing Statements, Articles of Incorporation/Organization, amendments, state qualifications, consents, merger documents, closing books, electronic closing sets, initial drafts or certificates, short-form closing deliverables, and filing annual reports.
Manage data rooms and matter files on document management systems.
Coordinate execution and delivery of documentation to other parties’ counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, etc., including all closing documentation.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:


6 years’ Paralegal experience supporting a Finance practice group in a law firm or professional services environment
Experience managing data rooms and matter files on document management systems
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of work


Preferred Requirements:

Blue Sky experience
Experience preparing and filing a variety of corporate legal documents
Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Large firm experience


Salary and Benefits:

In accordance with New York City, California, and Washington’s Pay Transparency Law, pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City, California or Washington is $95k-$130k. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience and overall qualifications.
