Latham & Watkins, a leading global law firm, is seeking a highly qualified associate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity to join our 3rd through 5th year associate class. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and prestigious law firm with a strong reputation in the corporate and private equity sectors.
The Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity Practice at Latham & Watkins is a highly regarded team that advises on some of the most complex and high-profile transactions in the market. As an associate in this practice, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, and emerging growth companies, on a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions. You will also have the chance to work closely with experienced partners and gain exposure to a wide range of legal matters, providing you with valuable experience and professional development opportunities.
To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity, with a strong academic background and excellent drafting and negotiation skills. In addition, you must be a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. A JD degree and admission to the State Bar of California or the ability to waive in is required.
