Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate for our disability claims paralegal position will have:

- 2+ years of relevant law firm experience or similar office setting

- Experience building long-term relationships with law firm clients

- Upbeat personality, patience and a genuine interest in helping others

- Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills

- Experience managing multiple priorities

- Strong attention to detail

- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PDF software

- Experience reviewing, organizing, and synthesizing medical records

- Emotional intelligence and a growth mindset - focus on learning and improvement

Responsibilities and Duties:

As a trusted member of our team, the disability claims paralegal will be the primary range (commensurate with experience)

We are looking for a Disability Claims Paralegal to join our law firm and help us protect the rights of individuals with disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-3 years of law firm experience, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience building long-term relationships with clients. The paralegal will be responsible for protecting disability benefits for an assigned roster of clients, monitoring insurance requests, and strategizing with our legal team to protect our clients’ interests. The position offers a competitive salary range of $50-62,000 (commensurate with experience) and a range of benefits, including bonus eligibility, paid time off, health and disability insurance, 401K and profit-sharing plans, and commuter check.
