H1: Labor and Employment Attorney (Hybrid) at Mid-sized Women-Owned Education Law Firm H2: Join Our Labor, Employment, and Personnel Practice Group at DWK The Law Firm of Dannis Woliver Kelley (DWK) is seeking a Labor and Employment Attorney to join our statewide practice representing school and community college districts. As a mid-sized women-owned education law firm, we are dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. We have multiple office locations throughout California, including Sacramento, East Bay, and San Francisco, and are open to considering candidates for any of these offices. We are looking for a qualified candidate with a minimum of three years of experience in labor, employment, and personnel law. This role will involve working with our Labor, Employment, and Personnel Practice Group, and the ideal candidate will have experience with labor negotiations, including serving on a negotiations team, developing and drafting bargaining proposals, and effectively negotiating collective bargaining agreements and MOUs. Experience with the Educational Employment Relations Act or a similar labor relations statute is preferred. In addition to strong legal skills, we are seeking a candidate with excellent analytical, writing, research, and communication skills. The ability to work on a broad variety of legal matters and represent public entities is also essential. While prior public entity representation is preferred, it is not required, and prior school district representation is a plus. Candidates must be admitted to the California State Bar.
