Summary

Law Firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team. The Personal Injury Paralegal will work closely with the attorneys providing support for cases from presuit through trial. The responsibilities of the Personal Injury Paralegal will include daily interaction with existing and potential clients, ordering medical records, obtaining documents to support injury and/or liability positions, negotiating case settlements with insurance carriers, maintaining organized case files, preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, e-filing court documents, preparing trial binders, and drafting pleadings.

The ideal candidate for this position will have an associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience, 2+ years of presuit or litigation experience, completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program, and experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas. The Personal Injury Paralegal must also possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision. They must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings, be highly organized, and have extensive computer and database expertise.
