Law Firm is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Patent Agent (EE/CS/Physics) to join our team in either Cleveland or Pittsburgh. As a Patent Agent, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of high-tech patent prosecution matters. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1-5 years of experience and a background in electrical engineering, computer science, applied physics, or a related field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Draft and prosecute patent applications related to high-tech industries such as software, hardware, semiconductors, telecommunications, autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and blockchain.
- Provide support for IP due diligence, patent landscape analyses, patent litigations, and post-grant proceedings.
- Collaborate with a team and have significant responsibility and client interaction.
- Develop strong written and oral communication skills.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and changes in patent law.
- Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide strategic advice.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all patent prosecution matters.

Required Qualifications:

- USPTO registration and Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, applied physics, or a related field.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong academic background and a passion for teamwork and client interaction.
- 1-5 years of experience in patent prosecution.
