As a Paralegal Manager at Frost Brown Todd LLP, you will join a reputable law firm with over 1000 legal and business professionals in seventeen offices across the nation. Your role will be to oversee and manage a team of Paralegals and Other Professionals, working closely with key stakeholders within the firm to attract, retain, develop and support talented individuals to assist our attorneys in providing excellent and efficient service to our clients. You will also be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, cooperation, and collaboration across groups, teams, and offices. This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. Responsibilities: •Building relationships and fostering a cohesive team work ethic among all Paralegal teams •Conducting regularly scheduled meetings with Paralegal teams •Visiting FBT offices to engage with paralegals, other professionals, attorneys, and other stakeholders •Monitoring utilization, productivity, and financial metrics •Developing a pipeline of talented professionals •Implementing strategies for development, mentoring, and training •Monitoring individual performance and providing feedback •Preparing annual expense budget and hours budget •Identifying and assessing hiring needs •Training and communicating with attorneys on working with paralegals Requirements: •Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience •5+ years of legal experience, including managerial experience •Previous experience in a professional services firm, law firm experience preferred •Ability to work over 40 hours per week and travel as needed •Demonstrated leadership skills •Diplomacy and professional presence •Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders •Commitment to handling confidential information •Strong management coaching and organization skills •Excellent written and oral communication skills •Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines •Strong business and financial acumen •Proactive and hands-on approach •Ability to work well with diverse individuals •Cross-cultural skills and awareness •Understanding of unconscious bias Frost Brown Todd LLP is an equal opportunity employer.
