The Senior Intellectual Property Paralegal is a vital position in the law firm, responsible for managing client portfolios and ensuring the smooth prosecution of patent applications. This role requires a minimum of five years of experience in international, PCT, and US prosecution, as well as a high school diploma (or equivalent). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of patent procedural requirements and be highly organized and detail-oriented. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a 40 hour work week and a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage client portfolios and handle all filings and correspondence for US, PCT, and foreign prosecution
- Draft and file prosecution documents for US and PCT applications
- Correspond with foreign associates regarding all aspects of foreign prosecution
- Maintain a docket of deadlines for assigned clients
- Timely report official correspondence to clients and foreign associates
- Achieve a 1500 billable hour requirement, including approved non-billable time
- Provide support to intellectual property attorneys to ensure excellent client service

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international, PCT, and US prosecution
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred
- Familiarity with patent procedural requirements of USPTO
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and adaptable
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable with technology and Microsoft products
