Job Title: Training and Development Specialist

Experience Information:
- required
- At least 3 years of experience developing training solutions for a major law firm or professional services company
- Prior litigation paralegal experience is a plus
- SCORM or xAPI compliance certification is a plus

Department: Data Organization

The Opportunity:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to understand and develop training plans for the Firm's Document Management System (DMS), Case Management Software, and Microsoft Add-In's
- Conduct one-on-one training sessions with new timekeepers and support staff to ensure understanding and best practices for relevant systems
- Develop training material and presentations to help business leaders arrive at best practices for data management
- Serve as a trusted advisor on data management best practices for end users
- Analyze adoption of best practices across the organization
- Provide training and guidance to peers regarding data needs, process changes, and technical implementations
- Responsible for preparing assessment plans and training material for software roll-outs and upgrades
- Design User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans and scenarios, review QA testing results, and support execution of UAT
- Develop short-term training information for any bugs or anomalies at go-live
- Create feedback surveys for initial go-live findings from timekeepers
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned in support of Data Governance at Littler

Responsibilities:
- Analyzing data requirements to develop effective training plans for relevant systems
- Conducting one-on-one training sessions with new hires and tracking completion of required training
- Developing necessary training material for the Data Organization's training initiatives
- Creating value-added presentations to help business leaders arrive at best practices for data management
- Serving as a trusted advisor on data management best practices for end users
- Providing training and guidance to peers regarding data needs, process changes, and technical implementations
- Preparing assessment plans and training material for software roll-outs and upgrades
- Designing User Acceptance Test (UAT) plans and scenarios, reviewing QA testing results, and supporting execution of UAT
- Developing short-term training information for any bugs or anomalies at go-live
- Creating feedback surveys for initial go-live findings from timekeepers
- Performing other duties/projects as assigned in support of Data Governance at Littler

Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to create training plans and material in the LMS
- Experience with understanding and training on Document Management Systems, Case Management Software, Microsoft Suite, and Document Repositories
- Understanding of Data Governance, Compliance, and Data Management concepts
- Ability to develop and provide training material and sessions for supported systems
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to define and document detailed processes and identify efficiency improvements
- High level of customer service and ability to develop productive partnerships with peers and users
- Ability to develop UAT testing and compile results for review with leadership

Education and Certifications:

- At least 3 years of experience developing training solutions for a major law firm or professional services company
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and efficiently with attorneys and cross-department personnel
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills (in person and virtually)
- Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions
- Independent judgment and discretion
- Ability to lead projects and work with little supervision
- Proven ability to meet established deadlines
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
- Prior litigation paralegal experience is a plus
