This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced patent professional to join a leading firm and gain valuable experience in the Life Sciences patent group. Job Description The Patent Associate - Life Sciences will be responsible for drafting and prosecuting patent applications, preparing patent opinion letters, providing IP counseling to clients, and conducting patent due diligence studies in connection with business transactions. They will also be responsible for supervising junior attorneys and patent agents as part of global client service teams. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of patent prosecution law firm experience, patent bar membership, and a background in one of the following fields: cell or molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, cancer biology, pharmacology, biophysics, or digital health focused disciplines. Advanced degrees are required and prior patent agent experience is preferred. Candidates must also possess strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills as well as superior academic credentials.
