Litigation Paralegal Position Available at Leading Law Firm in North and South Carolina

The law firm of Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Paralegal for one of its offices in North or South Carolina. This position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of litigation-related matters and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive litigation support with a strong attention to detail and proactive approach
- Manage eDiscovery process, including organizing, searching, producing, redacting, and logging documents
- Analyze and organize large amounts of information and data sets
- Demonstrate expertise in civil litigation, state and federal court procedures, and working with regulatory bodies such as the FDA and CPSC
- Prepare agency, state, and federal court filings
- Gain and utilize in-depth knowledge of product liability laws and issues
- Conduct research, including rules and procedures, public searches, and compiling information for attorney review
- Organize documents and prepare witness files and materials for depositions
- Assist with trial and arbitration preparation, including coordinating logistics and preparing materials
- Complete special projects and duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a mid or large-sized law firm preferred
- Excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong project management skills with a focus on detail and meeting deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize project requirements
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on client service
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of court processes and procedures
