Role: Trusts & Estates Administration Paralegal Location: New Jersey, New York, or Florida Experience: 5+ years Job Summary: The Trusts & Estates Administration Paralegal will be responsible for managing all aspects of estate and trust administration, including probate, communication with clients and financial professionals, and preparation of tax returns and fiduciary accountings. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of estate tax software, excellent communication and mathematical skills, and the ability to work well in a team. This position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits program. Responsibilities: - Manage all phases of estate and trust administration - Handle probate process (knowledge of New Jersey, New York, and Florida probate a plus) - Communicate with clients, financial planners, and accountants - Prepare federal and state estate tax returns and fiduciary accountings - Distribute estate assets and fund trusts - Complete deed work and other related tasks - Utilize estate tax software (ONESOURCE/Fast Tax), HotDocs, and Microsoft Word Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in trusts and estates administration - Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Working knowledge of estate tax software, HotDocs, and Microsoft Word - College degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred - JD/paralegal candidates will also be considered Salary: - Competitive starting salary - Comprehensive benefits program - Salary range: $76,500 to $162,500 Location: This position is available in our New Jersey, New York, or Florida offices.
