Bowman and Brooke, a leading law firm in complex civil litigation, is currently seeking an experienced product liability paralegal to join their team in Miami, FL. With decades of experience and a passion for litigating cases in state and federal courts, the firm provides top-notch legal services to clients in various industries, including motor vehicles, drugs and medical devices, chemical products, consumer products, and heavy equipment. This is a regular full-time position with a competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

- Draft, edit, and proofread various legal documents, including correspondence, agreements, and pleadings.
- Collaborate with attorneys to ensure the smooth progress of litigation in each case, providing regular updates and alerting them to important client and case needs.
- Assist with discovery, including requests, depositions, and issuing subpoenas.
- Conduct document review and analysis using various platforms.
- Manage electronic case files using a document management system.
- Prepare for trial by compiling trial materials, coordinating witnesses, issuing subpoenas, managing exhibits, and attending trial.

Qualifications:

- Highly motivated, meticulous, and personable.
- Able to adapt to changing demands and challenges.
- Proactive in anticipating challenges and making sound decisions.
- Able to deliver high-quality work and take ownership and responsibility.
- Comfortable with learning new technology and processes.
- Willingness to travel nationwide for trial.
- Familiarity with client billing guidelines and ability to accurately record billing entries.
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of experience in a law firm.
