Qualifications:

USPTO Patent Bar qualified, with a preference for those already admitted to practice in California, New York, or Washington, .
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials science, bioinformatics, artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML), or related disciplines
Previous law firm or industry experience preferred

Law Firm Seeks Patent Agent with Engineering Background

Overview:
- Wilson Sonsini, a leading law firm, is seeking a patent agent with an engineering background to join their Patents and Innovations group.
- The position is open in multiple locations, including Boston, Century City, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Diego, San Francisco, and Washington, .
- The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $210,000, with the potential for additional bonuses.

Responsibilities:
- The patent agent will work closely with the firm's clients in all aspects of patent prosecution, including evaluating invention disclosures, preparing and prosecuting patent applications, and conducting landscape studies.

- The role also includes formal and informal training and mentorship opportunities.

Qualifications:
