SALARY INFORMATION:

The Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal position at MattLaw® offers a starting salary of $22 per hour, with potential for increases based on experience and performance. In addition, the position includes incentives and bonuses for meeting or exceeding performance goals.

draft and file legal documents, including motions and discovery requests
once the defendants have filed discovery, answer the request for production and interrogatories using the online client answers
conduct legal research and assist with case strategy
prepare cases for trial and assist with other aspects of trial preparation to ensure trial readiness
communicate with clients, opposing council, and court personnel
monitor and help with discovery when needed
assist in ensuring witnesses at trial have everything they need to testify
prepare trial notebooks, witness binders, evidence binders

experience and skills required:

bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience
3+ year of experience as a plaintiff’s personal injury litigation paralegal
professional in punctuality and appearance
knowledge of personal injury law and litigation procedures
excellent verbal and written communication skills
proficient word processing, crm, email and westlaw
ability to work independently and/or as part of a team
