In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring assigned shared mailboxes and related docket requests, docketing them in a timely manner, and assisting the Litigation Docket Manager with additional projects. Job Title: Litigation Docket Specialist (California and Asbestos-Specific Docketing) Location: Multiple Locations (may be filled remotely) Salary Range: $49,000 - $107,000 (varies by location and experience) Responsibilities: - Independently docket for designated assignment group (multiple offices and/or practice groups) - Review and comprehend documents to ensure all deadlines are identified and docketed - Review court and/or agency dockets as needed - Verify jurisdiction, court/venue, and relevant authorities - Create, review, and distribute accurate matter reports - Research and apply statutory, agency, court, and individual judges’ rules and practices - Respond professionally and constructively to requests from timekeepers and staff - Collaborate with the Litigation Docket Manager to improve docketing best practices - Assist Docket Team with special projects as needed - Keep up-to-date with developments, procedures, and rules in courts and agencies within designated assignment group Qualifications: - - 3-5 years of litigation docketing experience with specific experience using CompuLaw Vision - Strong knowledge of California litigation and asbestos practice - Experience with federal and state courts, calculating and calendaring deadlines - Proficient knowledge of court systems and legal resources - Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe products, and internet research - Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and resourcefulness - Ability to adapt to change and balance competing demands in a fast-paced environment Join our team at Husch Blackwell and be a part of a dynamic and diverse work environment.
