# Legal Administrative Assistant at Law Firm Law firms are always looking for talented and experienced legal administrative assistants to join their team. This posting is for a Legal Administrative Assistant at a law firm, to be part of their Estate Planning Department. The ideal candidate must have experience with Microsoft programs, document formatting, Outlook, Excel spreadsheets, document management software, and time and billing software. ## Responsibilities The Legal Administrative Assistant will be responsible for: * Answering multiple telephone lines and documenting messages * Interacting with clients daily via email and phone * Scheduling meetings and maintaining calendar for multiple attorneys * Processing attorney edits * Drafting simple letters * Proofreading agreements, trusts, wills, and all client related documentation * Preparing client binders of signed estate planning documentation both in hard copy and PDF format with table of contents * Performing other related duties as assigned ## Qualifications The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications: * Proficiency in Microsoft programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and other software programs as needed * Ability to format and create flow charts * Familiarity with document management software (., NetDocuments) * Ability to learn new software when necessary * Familiarity with time and billing software and ability to research client accounts receivables, billing and payment history and work in progress * Familiarity with red-lining software (., Workshare Compare) * Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbally and in writing * Ability to work independently and in a team in a deadline-driven environment * Ability to handle multiple projects, multiple attorneys, and paralegals with shifting priorities, and meet deadlines * Ability to assume progressive responsibilities within assigned work as experience is gained in the position * Dependability and professionalism * Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs ## Salary and Benefits Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience. ## Application To apply for this position, please submit a one-page resume and cover letter stating salary requirements, both in PDF format, to Melissa E.
