Eckert Seamans is a highly reputable and successful national law firm with a rich history spanning over 65 years. With a team of approximately 300 lawyers spread across 15 offices, we provide clients with proactive and solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. We are currently seeking an experienced Trademark Paralegal to join our team.

About the Role

As a Trademark Paralegal at Eckert Seamans, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the preparation and filing of federal trademark and service mark applications. This includes handling statements of use, requests for extension of time, Sections 8&9, Sections 8&15, responses to office actions, and motions for opposition. You will also be responsible for monitoring and handling foreign trademark formalities and renewals, tracking docket entries and deadlines, and preparing reports for attorneys and clients. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to confer with clients, foreign associates, and . Patent and Trademark Office personnel, as well as arrange for the legalization of documents in foreign countries. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Aptitude for learning new applications, systems, and processes
- Proficiency with Office365 and docketing databases (PATTSY WAVE preferred)
- Familiarity with TSDR, Coresearch, Page Vault, Global IP Estimator, and document management systems (iManage preferred)
- Knowledge of foreign trademark prosecution
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience required
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA qualified program preferred
- Minimum three years of trademark prosecution experience
