We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team and help us deliver the highest level of service to our clients. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence from draft or dictated text - Create, edit, format, and proofread documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail - Manage workflow of assigned tasks and projects, prioritizing incoming tasks to meet deadlines - Transmit legal documents to clients, witnesses, and court officials via electronic filing, fax, email, or mail - Process new business requests and assist with opening, reviewing conflicts, and closing matters - Utilize new technology to improve efficiency and work quality - Collaborate with team members and resources as needed to complete tasks - Adhere to all firm policies, procedures, and standards while maintaining confidentiality Qualifications: - Associate's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree a plus (applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree) - Minimum of 5 years of related experience at a law firm or legal/corporate department preferred - Previous experience as a litigation assistant, legal assistant, or paralegal with extensive knowledge of state and federal court filings, drafting pleadings and discovery, and document review - Advanced-level working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Familiarity with Federal and State court rules and electronic filing processes (.
