ARC Specialist (Attorney Resource Center) - Legal Administrative Assistant Position at Law Firm

Salary Range: $76,500 - $92,500 (depending on location)

The ARC Specialist role at our law firm provides crucial administrative and document production support to attorneys and various departments within the firm. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team and help us deliver the highest level of service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents, memoranda, and correspondence from draft or dictated text
- Create, edit, format, and proofread documents, spreadsheets, and presentations with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Manage workflow of assigned tasks and projects, prioritizing incoming tasks to meet deadlines
- Transmit legal documents to clients, witnesses, and court officials via electronic filing, fax, email, or mail
- Process new business requests and assist with opening, reviewing conflicts, and closing matters
- Utilize new technology to improve efficiency and work quality
- Collaborate with team members and resources as needed to complete tasks
- Adhere to all firm policies, procedures, and standards while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree a plus (applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience at a law firm or legal/corporate department preferred
- Previous experience as a litigation assistant, legal assistant, or paralegal with extensive knowledge of state and federal court filings, drafting pleadings and discovery, and document review
- Advanced-level working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Federal and State court rules and electronic filing processes (. Pacer, File and Serve, etc.)
- Proficiency in legal terminology and experience in related practice areas
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to adapt to different styles and administrative tasks applicable to various practice areas
- Proficiency with office equipment, such as computers, copiers, telephones, etc.
- Typing speed of 60 wpm or higher
- Visual acuity for tasks such as analyzing data, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- This job operates in a clerical, office setting
- Sedentary work, involving mostly sitting and occasional walking/standing
- Visual acuity is necessary for tasks such as analyzing data and reading
