They are seeking a Practice Coordinator to support their Disputes practice in their Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. This full-time role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a law firm or professional service organization. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role offers a base annual salary of $85,000-$100,000, with potential for bonuses based on individual and firm performance. H1: Practice Coordinator - Disputes H2: Job Description: - Global law firm with a focus on pioneering work and a strong culture - Seeking a Practice Coordinator to support lawyers in the Disputes practice - Responsible for administrative duties such as document production, organization, and client support - Required to work in the office at least two days per week with flexibility for overtime - Must possess strong administrative skills, a positive attitude, and take initiative - Reports to the Office Administration department in California - Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm or professional service organization - Experience with paralegal activities preferred - Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma required - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat - Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail - Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Salary range of $85,000-$100,000, with potential for bonuses based on performance H2: Responsibilities: - Document production including formatting, editing, and finalizing legal documents - Proofreading for content, grammar, and accuracy - Maintaining calendars and scheduling meetings, calls, and webinars - E-filing with various courts and staying up to date on filing requirements and deadlines - Organizing client files and inputting data into document management system - Preparing new client and matter forms, conducting conflicts searches, and preparing engagement letters and budgets - Reviewing and editing pre-bills for billing department - Inputting time entry for assigned lawyers and tracking work in progress and accounts receivable - Delegating administrative tasks as needed and tracking completion - Interacting with clients, outside counsel, and others as needed - Maintaining contact lists and coordinating mailings - Tracking deadlines and updating lawyers and docketing department - May assist paralegals and perform some paralegal duties - Assisting other practice groups as needed H2: Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience in a law firm or professional service organization with litigation experience - Experience with paralegal activities preferred - Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma required - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat - Proficient in Litigation Calendaring and software (Milana preferred) - Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail - Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Self-starter with flexibility for overtime as needed - Exercises confidentiality and discretion - Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks - Willingness to learn and understand basic firm principles H2: Other Duties: - This job description does not cover all activities, duties, or responsibilities and may change at any time with or without notice.
