Financial Services Paralegal Job Description:

- Provide paralegal support to commercial finance partner and team
- Conduct due diligence on borrowers and prospects
- Prepare and revise loan documents and factoring agreements
- Coordinate client meetings and prepare agendas and minutes
- Research and summarize information for loan documents
- Track and record time for billing purposes
- Utilize practice group specific software
- Annual 1400 hour billable requirement

Qualifications and Skills:

- Undergraduate degree and/or paralegal certificate required
- 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department preferred
- Strong organizational, research, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong oral and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

- Generally sedentary position with occasional need for mobility
- Ability to efficiently communicate and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to see and read PC screens and fine print
