Job Title: Pre Suit Paralegal / Case Manager

Experience: At least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience

Department: Case Management

Overview:

- Morgan & Morgan is a leading personal injury law firm with a mission to fight for consumer rights.
- We are looking for a highly organized and customer-oriented Pre Suit Paralegal to join our team in Southfield, Michigan.
- This is a salaried position with a competitive salary and a generous bonus plan.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience and be able to handle a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Bilingual skills are a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities:

- Provide proactive and daily interaction with clients, insurance companies, and medical providers.
- Obtain medical records and communicate with providers during treatment.
- Gather necessary documents to support injury and liability positions.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers.
- Negotiate deductions of medical balances with providers.
- Work closely with coworkers involved in case management.
- Maintain organized case files.
- Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble supporting materials for submission to carriers.
- Interact with attorneys and present case synopsis when required.
- This role is in-office five days a week.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Prior experience in pre suit or as a case manager preferred.
- At least 2 years of legal or insurance adjuster experience.
- Ability to multitask, organize, prioritize, and handle a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient knowledge of legal procedures and documentation.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Winning attitude.
