Immigration Paralegal (Employment-based) The candidate will prepare petitions/applications for various NIV and IV immigration cases, including: temporary work visas (H-1B, L, E-1/2, EN O-1, J); I-140 (EB-1, 2, 3, including national interest waivers); I-485, including consular processing; applications for employment authorization documents; travel documents; replacement I-94; I-90 independently under the supervision of an attorney. Assemble and prepare immigration applications and petitions for filing for attorney review, Prepare declarations, draft and analyze legal documents and forms, Collect and manage data and documents. Communication regularly with clients regarding procedural and case processing. Assist attorney with researching law, procedure and keeping track of immigration law updates, Independently handle client intakes, client mailings and submissions to various immigration offices under the supervision of an attorney, Assist attorney with coordination of RFE deadlines and other calendars, Prepare supporting letters, RFE responses and client correspondence for filing for attorney review, 2 – 5 years of experience as a paralegal within immigration law, Experience specifically within business immigration law, Strong preference for experience with PERM and H-1B case matters, Strong organization and time management skills and ability to prioritize, Should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening are required.
