## Job Description

As a Sr. Paralegal at DLA Piper, you will be part of a critical team, providing support to lawyers, co-counsel, and clients on a variety of legal matters. You will have ample opportunities for growth and development, with formal and informal training and mentoring, as well as pro bono work.

## Responsibilities

- Develop, monitor, and update closing and other books and other documents
- Prepare and file a variety of corporate legal documents, such as Articles of Incorporation/Organization, amendments, state qualifications, consents, merger documents, closing books, electronic closing sets, initial drafts or certificates, short-form closing deliverables, and filing annual reports
- Manage data rooms and matter files on document management systems
- Research, prepare, and file legal UCC Financing Statements
- Coordinate execution and delivery of documentation to other parties’ counsel, lenders, governmental agencies, etc.
- Develop, monitor, and update closing and other checklists

## Requirements

- 6 years’ Paralegal experience supporting a Finance practice group in a law firm or professional services environment
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of work
- Blue Sky experience (preferred)
- Large firm experience (preferred)

## Salary

DLA Piper offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The compensation offered to a candidate selected for employment will be dependent upon various factors, including the candidate’s geographic market, skills, educational and professional background, experience and overall qualifications. In accordance with New York City, California, and Washington’s Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position, if hired to work in New York City, California or Washington is $95k-$130k.
