Do you thrive in a complex work environment and have a passion for developing and leading teams? Husch Blackwell LLP, a full-service litigation and business law firm, is seeking a Director of Docketing Services to join our team. As the Director of Docketing Services, you will lead our firm's docketing teams for the IP and Litigation practice specialty centers across the firm. You will work closely with firm leadership and Practice Specialty Center leaders to provide thought leadership and development to this function. This position may be filled remotely or in any of our locations. Responsibilities: Directly supervise the Docketing Managers and manage the docketing staff and all docket-related services. Provide direction, development, and oversight of docketing services across the firm. Serve as a resource and subject matter expert to firm leadership concerning docketing services and procedures. Identify and analyze docketing technologies, trends, and best practices and implement them at the firm. Build relationships with and serve as a resource and docketing subject matter expert to the firm’s attorneys. Ensure internal docketing procedures remain compliant with established rules and procedures. Audit docket entries for accuracy. Develop, implement, and oversee compliance with policies and procedures for the docketing teams. Develop and implement training programs and protocols for new and experienced docketing team members. Direct and oversee hiring, firing, promotions, and creation/elimination of positions within the docketing teams. Work on ad hoc projects as needed. Qualifications: . Minimum of 10 years of legal docketing experience within a law firm. Demonstrated subject matter expertise in docketing rules, practices, and procedures. Proficiency with docket databases, preferably CompuLaw and Pattsy. Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with people of diverse backgrounds. Intellectual curiosity and commitment to innovating and enhancing practices. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
