Law Firm is seeking an experienced Judicial Foreclosure Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join its team. This position is open to Arizona, USA, Honolulu, HI, USA, Las Vegas, NV, USA, San Diego, CA, USA and Virtual locations.

Job Description

A Judicial Foreclosure Paralegal/Legal Assistant provides a range of legal support and administration to lawyers and other legal professionals engaged in the firm’s practice of representing financial institutions in bankruptcy, foreclosure, residential real estate or mortgage law. This position is not exempt from overtime laws. The successful candidate must have a High School Diploma and at least 3 years’ experience working as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal. Judicial foreclosure experience is highly preferred. A paralegal certificate is a plus but not required.

The Judicial Foreclosure Paralegal/Legal Assistant will be responsible for the following duties:

Process the default/summary judgment work load of the assigned states according to Aldridge Pite procedures, internal goals and client/insurer/investor requirements.
Draft legal documents including pleadings, briefs, motions and agreements.
Electronically file pleadings within strict deadlines and manage/organize high volume incoming electronically filed pleadings
Prepare correspondence.
Proof legal forms and documents for accuracy.
Organize and track case files.
Provide timely responses/updates to clients
Communicate with courts, title vendors and other third parties
Monitor and handle judgment related tasks for the judicial foreclosure caseload assigned
Ensure that billing is completed in a timely manner at all billable events and milestones
Handle other projects or tasks assigned

In addition to the duties listed above, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional customer service, problem-solving skills, and the ability to take initiative in face of obstacles.
