As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide exceptional legal and administrative support by anticipating needs and working collaboratively with attorneys and other team members. A Day in the Life In this role, you will work directly with attorneys on a variety of tasks including: - Meeting with clients, trustees, and family members - Communicating with beneficiaries - Drafting correspondence and estate planning documents - Preparing deeds, asset spreadsheets, probate pleadings, and other legal documents - Disseminating information from financial institutions - Running conflict checks and opening new client/matter engagements - Setting up billing requirements for clients - Assisting with document editing, formatting, and engaging regulatory agencies - Aiding with transactional services We Know You To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of Trust and Estate legal experience, strong administrative support skills, and a background in a legal environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word) is required, as well as the ability to learn and utilize technology. Experience with document management systems and billing software is preferred. You should also have a strong attention to detail and be familiar with probate processes, federal estate and gift tax returns, and local court rules and procedures.
