I would like to see management implement small groups that will take care of worker reviews on a more regular basis so that employees know where they stand in the firm.

I found the pay to be excellent. I also thought that there was great flexibility in terms of allowing how each individual deals with their client. Everyone was very friendly as well.

This is a big law firm and being a big law firm there it can be quite arduous to figure out where you stand in the firm when compared to everyone else. I found this is be a somewhat small flaw in the grand scheme of things though.

Be more attentive to employees that might need more guidance or clarification - some people are just more risk-adverse and don't like to take action without permission. Help them now so they can gain more confidence for the future.

Just about everyone is great to work with - the culture is excellent. There are lots of opportunities to learn and grow, and many positions have a lot of autonomy. Technology is pretty up to date.

Pay and benefits sometimes feel sub-par compared to working hours and local competitors' salaries. As good as it is that the firm gives people a lot of leeway, sometimes it does not seem like they provide enough guidance or direction to employees.

The Firm dedicates thousands of hours to pro bono services. Over the last two decades it has donated 405,605 hours of pro bono service and regularly leads in the American Lawyer pro bono rankings.

It contains the following key elements that the program set a goal of a minimum number of annual pro bono hours per attorney, that considering the considerable resources of the firm, it should undertake large, "impact" pro bono projects and to give full billable and collections credit for pro bono matters meeting Nelson Mullins' definition of "pro bono" and approved by the Pro Bono Committee.

The program has stood the test of time and even after two decades it remains the prime motivators of the firm's pro bono program. The program is recognized as one of the top pro bono programs in the country.

The Firm is committed to handling complex pro bono litigation, corporate matters and legislative advocacy, as well as individual pro bono representation.
