Law Firm Seeks Experienced Litigation Paralegal in Columbus, Georgia

Overview:

Morgan & Morgan, a leading personal injury law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced litigation paralegal to join our team in Columbus, Georgia. Responsibilities:

- Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, and affidavits
- E-file court documents in state and federal courts
- Communicate with clients, courts, and counsel
- Conduct legal research and factual investigations
- Prepare discovery documents and responses
- Draft and serve summons
- Coordinate and summarize depositions
- Prepare trial binders and exhibits
- Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Gather relevant information from various sources
- Assist with witness preparation
- Assist with case settlements

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience
- Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred)
- Experience in personal injury or other injury-related practice areas (preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal or in legal services in a law firm setting
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
