The Attorney Practice Coordinator position at Littler is a highly sought-after role for experienced litigation secretaries looking to take their career to the next level. The firm is currently seeking a skilled and organized individual to join their team as an Attorney Practice Coordinator in their Minneapolis office.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and overseeing attorney support from the Attorney Resource Team and other corporate departments, including calendar and billing teams.
• Submitting accurate and complete requests to the Attorney Resource Team, providing thorough instructions and documentation.
• Communicating with the case team to avoid duplicate requests to the Attorney Resource Team.
• Verifying court and other deadlines and alerting attorneys.
• Creating and updating litigation matters in Virtual Binder.
• Accurately creating Tables of Contents (TOCs) and Tables of Authorities (TOAs).
• Coordinating and finalizing documents for filing with courts or administrative agencies, and serving other parties.
• E-filing documents with courts and agencies according to applicable rules.
• Timely and properly filing in NetDocuments.
• Creating and submitting New Client Matters (NCMs) within firm standards.
• Coordinating audio transcription.
• Coordinating printing and assembling of documents with office services personnel.
• Maintaining attorney contact lists through Outlook and Client Relationship Management system (. InterAction).
• Submitting daily task log identifying projects and assignments.
• Reviewing and revising client pre-bills (may be required).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation secretary.
• Experience in labor and employment law preferred.
• Highly organized with the ability to support multiple attorneys' practices and coordinate multiple tasks and requests effectively.
• Demonstrates strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and anticipate practice needs.
• Takes initiative to identify, monitor, and execute tasks related to case timelines.
• Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with internal and external parties.
• Advanced knowledge and proven expertise using Best Authority to produce TOCs and TOAs.
• Extensive knowledge of court rules and ECF procedures.
• Proficient in using MS Office, Outlook, and Adobe.
• Experience with document management systems (. NetDocuments).
• Expertise in Forte or a similar document assembly solution to assist in creating compliant legal documents and correspondence.
• Knowledge of legal terminology.
