Responsibilities As a Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for providing high-quality billable work for our clients and attorneys. This includes managing a busy case load, conducting research, drafting legal documents, and assisting with trial preparation. We expect our Paralegals to record 1500 or more billable hours per performance year, which runs from October 1 to September 30. Key responsibilities include: - Obtaining and managing client documents and electronic data - Conducting background checks and obtaining necessary records - Drafting various legal documents for attorney review - Assisting with preparation for trial, including managing exhibits and coordinating witness meetings - Conducting online research and utilizing electronic resources effectively - Juggling multiple assignments and deadlines while maintaining a professional demeanor - Reviewing and ensuring accuracy of vendor invoices Requirements - Minimum of a high school diploma (college degree preferred) - Minimum of five years of experience - Strong communication and customer service skills - Dependability and professionalism - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Basic PC skills and ability to use office equipment such as phones, copiers, scanners, and printers What We Offer At Fisher Phillips, we value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, paid time off, 401(k) and profit sharing, life insurance, and an employee assistance program.
