Key Responsibilities:

Provide paralegal support to a minimum of (4) attorneys with a busy litigation practice
Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial materials
Prepare and organize discovery responses, including document review and production
Maintain case files and document management system
Conduct legal research and fact-checking
Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and trials
Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists
Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel as needed
Manage attorney calendars and deadlines
Perform other duties as assigned by attorneys

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate
At least three (3) years of litigation work experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational, written & verbal communication skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
Ability to work flexible and/or fluctuating work hours
Experience in insurance defense is required

Salary Information

Competitive salary based on experience
Annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours
