Nixon Peabody is seeking a Patent Agent II to join our team in multiple locations across the United States. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and the opportunity to work with top talent in a diverse and collaborative environment. As a Patent Agent II at Nixon Peabody, you will assist with all aspects of patent research, application preparation and submission, and patent prosecution. You will have direct client interaction and provide support in patent litigation matters and business transactions. In addition, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior patent professionals and manage patent portfolios with minimal attorney oversight. To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or an advanced scientific degree, and have passed the Patent Bar Exam. You should also have excellent communication skills, the ability to strategically interpret client needs, and the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workloads. Familiarity with patent litigation and an in-depth understanding of patentability and procedures are also required for this position.
