Supporting benefits and compensation in M&A, ERISA litigation, and withdrawal liability experience is a plus.

Job Overview: The Junior-Mid Level Benefits Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal support and counsel in the areas of benefits and compensation, with a focus on qualified retirement plans, health & welfare plans, and executive & deferred compensation arrangements. The candidate must be detail-oriented and possess excellent writing, oral advocacy, communication, and legal analysis skills.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support in benefits and compensation matters
  • Draft and review legal documents related to qualified retirement plans, health & welfare plans, and executive & deferred compensation arrangements
  • Assist in supporting benefits and compensation in M&A transactions
  • Handle ERISA litigation matters, if required
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on benefits and compensation issues
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external clients on benefits and compensation projects
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and situations

Requirements:

  • . from an ABA-accredited law school
  • 2-4 years of benefits experience in private practice
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices
