Law Firm is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estate and Trust Administrative Paralegal to join our team in Boston, MA or New York, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a high volume of complex work involving estate administration, trust administration, probate, family law, and fiduciary accounting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and personal skills, strong technological skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys as needed. H1: Join our team as an Estate and Trust Administrative Paralegal H2: Responsibilities and Requirements Responsibilities: • Manage the administration of estates from beginning to end • Prepare various probate and estate administration documents • Prepare accountings for both estates and trusts • Prepare death tax returns, including federal and state estate tax returns • Prepare federal and state fiduciary income tax returns • Review and interpret wills and trust agreements in collaboration with attorneys • Manage docket system and track deadlines • Perform basic research using a variety of resources Requirements: • Undergraduate degree and paralegal certification (or equivalent) • Familiarity with procedures of Probate Courts, taxing authorities, and regulatory agencies preferred • Experience with Microsoft Office resources, PDF software, and document management software • Experience with tax preparation and accounting software • Ability to learn and use advanced software programs and new technology • Excellent organizational, communication, and personal skills • Ability to work independently and in a team environment Salary Information: The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
