About the Position:

The Data Analytics Paralegal will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and loading client data for Littler's data-based technological solutions. They will work closely with other data analysts, attorneys, and clients to ensure accuracy and completeness of data. The position also involves conducting exposure assessments, creating class lists, and performing statistical analyses using client data and standard modeling techniques.

Responsibilities of the Data Analytics Paralegal include:

- Assessing the completeness of client data and making recommendations for additional data needed for analysis.
- Auditing employment-related data using Excel, Access, and other database tools to ensure internal reliability and consistency.
- Creating and maintaining settlement databases, including monitoring for duplicate claimants and communicating with case teams and opposing counsel.
- Analyzing client data using pre-established Excel procedures.
- Interfacing with clients to resolve consistency issues and obtain necessary data.
- Evaluating group termination decisions and compensation differences using critical thinking skills.
- Reviewing, manipulating, and transforming data using Excel and Access.
- Complying with all security protocols of Littler and its clients.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- At least five years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm, corporate law department, or data analytics group.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with PowerPoint is a plus.
- Experience with Excel Macros, VBA, SharePoint, Stata, and SQL is preferred.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, proofread for errors, and communicate effectively with a diverse group of clients, attorneys, and staff.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, particularly with data input and manipulation.
- Willingness to occasionally work more than 40 hours per week.
- Ability to work independently and ask questions.
