Transactional/HOA & Condo Attorney - Law Firm Position in Maryland H1: Join Our Team as a Transactional Attorney in Maryland H2: Work with Homebuilders and Developers on HOA & Condo Matters The Law Firm is currently seeking a skilled and experienced transactional attorney to join our team in Maryland. This role will primarily focus on providing legal representation to homebuilders and developers in matters related to homeowner, condominium, and community associations. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of transactional experience and be licensed to practice law in Maryland, or have the ability to become licensed in the state. Responsibilities: - Prepare and file organizational documents for homeowner, condominium, and community associations - Review and analyze contracts related to these associations - Draft and finalize sales disclosure packages for clients - Conduct legal research and advise clients on related issues - Maintain knowledge of relevant statutes and perform legal research as needed - Other related duties as assigned Qualifications: - License to practice law in Maryland, or ability to become licensed - At least 4 years of transactional experience, preferably in areas related to homeowners associations, condominium associations, real estate, corporate governance, contract review, and fair housing - Strong writing skills and ability to draft contracts and legal documents in a clear and concise manner - Analytical skills for complex legal analysis - Interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, attorneys, and staff - Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research databases - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Willingness to travel for client meetings and other locations as needed - Ability to work overtime when necessary - Ability to maintain strict confidentiality - Ability to lift and carry materials up to 25 lbs. Salary Information: Salary for this position will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Experience Information: At least 4 years of transactional experience is preferred for this role.
