Law Firm Seeking Legal Assistant for Real Estate, Development, and Finance Group - Full-Time Position in Las Vegas, NV

H1: Join Our Team as a Legal Assistant in our Real Estate, Development, and Finance Group in Las Vegas!

H2: Overview of Position:

- Provide advanced legal and administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and other colleagues in the Real Estate, Development, and Finance Practice Group
- Manage the business intake process, including adversary searches, drafting memos and engagement letters, and opening new files
- Prepare, revise, and format legal documents and correspondence
- Transcribe audio files to create written transcripts
- File documents electronically with federal and state courts
- Manage incoming and outgoing communication and provide direct client support
- Maintain and manage attorney/paralegal calendars
- Proactively support team and demonstrate positive and collaborative approach
- Serve as a resource to teammates and liaise with courts

H2: Qualifications:

- High school education with 4+ years of legal assistant experience or 2 years of legal assistant training and 2 years of experience
- Advanced legal assistant skills, including accurate typing and knowledge of software such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong knowledge of iManage, iCompli, Intapp, Chrome River, Expert Time, and CompuLaw
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local court rules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

H2: Physical Requirements:

- Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Lift, carry, and move weights of at least 10 pounds
- Have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement for computer work
- Speak clearly and concisely
- Understand the speech of others
